Visitation hours at the Pine Prairie ICE Processing Center are organized by risk classifications. They are broken out as follow:
ICE Level Medium High & High Detainees
- Saturday 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
ICE Level Low & Medium Low Detainees
- Saturday 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

- Saturday 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Weekday visits are available Monday-Friday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and can be arranged through the warden.
The facility recommends you arrive at least 45 minutes ahead of your scheduled time so you can be processed appropriate through security. All visitors must be prepared to show a valid ID and visits are not to exceed 60 minutes unless prior approval from the warden.

Delivery bonds (i.e., immigration bonds) cannot be posted in-person directly at this center. Instead, family members or associates can post an immigration bond at any of the 82 ICE-ERO facilities around the country that accept immigration bonds. The closest facility to the Pine Prairie ICE Processing Center that accepts immigration bonds is located at 1010 East Whatley Road, Oakdale, LA 71463. Immigration bonds can be posted Monday-Friday (except holidays) at this facility from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
To post an immigration bond for someone detained at the Pine Prairie ICE Processing Center you must have a money order, cashier’s check or certified check. If the bond amount exceeds $10,000 and over, you can only pay by single cashier’s check or a certified check. All payments should be made to the “US Department of Homeland Security” or “Immigration and Customs Enforcement.”
