      Visitation hours:

      Visitation hours at the Central Texas Detention Facility are organized by housing floor. They are broken out as follows:

      Saturday

      • 5th, 6th, and 7th Floor
        • 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

      Sunday

      • 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Floor
        • 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

      Monday

      • 3rd Floor Females
        • 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

      Tuesday

      • 2nd, 3rd, 5th SEG, 7th, Medical Floor

      All visitors must be on the visitation list submitted by the detainee. Ten names per detainee may be listed. On two visitors at a time are permitted.All visits are not to exceed 20 minutes. The facility recommends you arrive at least 45 minutes ahead of your scheduled time so you can be processed appropriate through security. All adults must present a valid ID. Attorneys can visit clients Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.

      Immigration Bond Information

      for the Central Texas Detention Facility

      Delivery bonds (i.e., immigration bonds) cannot be posted in-person directly at the Central Texas Detention Facility. Instead, family members or associates can post an immigration bond at any of the 82 ICE-ERO facilities around the country that accept immigration bonds. The closest facility to the Central Texas Detention Facility that accepts immigration bonds is located at 3523 Cross Point Drive, San Antonio, TX 78217. The number there is (210) 564-2032. Immigration bonds can be posted Monday-Friday (except holidays) at this facility from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Bonds cannot be posted directly at the Central Texas Detention Facility.

      To post an immigration bond for someone detained at Central Texas Detention Facility you must have a money order, cashier’s check or certified check. If the bond amount exceeds $10,000 and over, you can only pay by single cashier’s check or a certified check. All payments should be made to the “US Department of Homeland Security” or “Immigration and Customs Enforcement.”

      If you do not want to post the bond in-person yourself, you can also have a licensed immigration bond agent post the bond for you. For a small fee, ranging from 2% – 10%, an agent can post the bond for you electronically, so that you do not have to travel to the ICE-ERO facility. This process is typically faster and easier than posting a bond yourself.
