      If you would like to visit a detained immigrant in this facility, you must do so Friday – Monday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

      Visitation Rules

      • Visits will last a minimum of 30 minutes
      • Visitors may only visit a detainee once a day
      • All visits shall be “non-contact.” This includes, family, friends, colleagues, etc.
      • No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted in the facility
      • If visitors are or appear to be intoxicated, visitation will not be allowed
      • All visitors are subject to search while in the facility
      • Visitors are not allowed to pass or attempt to pass any items to detainees
      • Visitors are not allowed to carry any items into the visitation area

      Immigration Bond Information

      for the James A. Musick Facility

      Delivery bonds (i.e., immigration bonds) cannot be posted in-person directly at the James A. Musick Facility. Instead, family members or associates can post an immigration bond at any of the 82 ICE-ERO facilities around the country that accept immigration bonds. The closest facility to the James A. Musick Facility that accepts immigration bonds is located at 300 N Los Angeles Street, Suite 7621, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Immigration bonds can be posted Monday-Friday (except holidays) at this facility from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Bonds cannot be posted directly at the James A. Musick Facility.

      To post an immigration bond for someone detained at the James A. Musick Facility you must have a money order, cashier’s check or certified check. If the bond amount exceeds $10,000 and over, you can only pay by single cashier’s check or a certified check. All payments should be made to the “US Department of Homeland Security” or “Immigration and Customs Enforcement.”

      If you do not want to post the bond in-person yourself, you can also have a licensed immigration bond agent post the bond for you. For a small fee, ranging from 2% – 10%, an agent can post the bond for you electronically, so that you do not have to travel to the ICE-ERO facility. This process is typically faster and easier than posting a bond yourself.

        Yes. If you know someone who is detained at the James A. Musick Facility in Santa Ana California and you would like to visit them, there is free public parking available. The parking will be designated for visitors.

Additionally, when a family uses the services of a bonding agent the detained individual will be released much sooner.

          California ICE Detention Facilities

          Not every ICE detention facility allows you to post an immigration bond in California. If you would like to post an immigration bond it must be done at an ICE-ERO facility that accepts immigration bonds.

          You can post an immigration bond through a licensed immigration bonding agent. That agent can post a bond for you electronically for any detention facility in California and around the US.
